family photos

It always feel special to get family photos done in the fall, not just for the convenience of having a fresh photo when designing Christmas cards, but because our anniversary is in the fall. We have gotten photos taken every year since we've been married and it's so fun to see how our family changes. This year I didn't think we were going to get them done because I completely spaced on it, and by the time I thought about it all of the photographers were booked for the year. Luckily Brittany Noble was available last minute!

Speaking of last minute, I had an outfit picked out for the shoot and I worked everyone else's outfits around it. Since we needed to drive from Tucson to Mesa for the shoot, we had to be ready to go before we left town. As I was getting dressed I realized I hated what I was wearing and so we decided to run to Old Navy on the way out of town in hopes of finding something that would coordinate with the clothing that my family was already wearing. I would either find something, or I'd be naked for the pictures, so either way it would be cool I guess. Luckily for everyone receiving a Christmas card, I found a dress and wasn't naked on it when sending out a card celebrating Jesus' birth.

Wow, that took a turn I wasn't really expecting.

Anyway, Brittany did a phenom job and I am basically obsessed with the photos.
