What I read last week

The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord - This was a re-read for me, but since it had been almost 2 years since I had read it, it was time. To me, this is the perfect book and it just feels cozy to settle into the story again. I never really tell anyone what it's about, just urge them to read because I know they will love it. 5 stars

The Princess Diarist by Carrie Fisher (e-reader, not pictured) - I never really enjoy non-fiction, so I don't know why I keep making myself read non-fiction, haha. Carrie was super funny and many of her anecdotes were great, but I had to PUSH myself to read this book. Initially I gave it 3 stars, but I think it's more of a 2.5 stars

Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll - I had high hopes for this one, but it was too gritty and the character was so unlikeable that this was a hate read for me to try and finish to find out what happened in the end. 2 stars

Never, Always, Sometimes by Adi Alsaid (e-reader, did not finish) - I hesitated to include this one because I didn't even finish it, but I hated it so much I just feel like you should know to pass on it. The main characters are way too codependent on one another that it's unhealthy. And the main girl never wears shoes, and it's super gross, haha. Couldn't finish

Wasn't a great week for books it seems, haha!
